About Us

Metro Interfaith is a private, ecumenical, not-for-profit Corporation established in 1968. It serves the housing needs of low income families, handicapped individuals and elderly residents of our community by providing decent, safe and affordable rental housing.

Metro Interfaith developed and owns housing units located at:

  • Metro Interfaith Services- 29 units for low income families
  • Metro Plaza Apartments- 150 units for elderly and/or handicapped
  • Lincoln Court Apartments- 45 units for elderly and/or handicapped
  • 19 New Street- 4 units for elderly and/or handicapped
  • 6 Munsell Street- 4 units for elderly and/or the handicapped
  • 10 Way Street- 2 units for low-income families
  • 26 New Street- 4 units for elderly and/or handicapped
  • 94 Henry Street Apartments- 12 units for elderly and/or handicapped
  • 4 Munsell Street- 4 units for handicapped/disabled
  • 104 Prospect Avenue- 7 units for handicapped/disabled
  • 67 Bevier Street- 4 units for handicapped/disabled

Metro Interfaith manages:

  • Broome County VOA Living Center- 20 units for the handicapped

  • New York State Neighborhood Preservation Company
  • HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency
  • Licensed Enriched Housing Provider
  • Administrator for the Binghamton Homeownership Academy
